This article is going to be about where you can go to watch your favorite TV shows and series online, and for free. I'm going to cover some of the best sites out there to watch TV series online, and the pros and cons of using them as well as an all-in-one solution at the end that conglomerates all the output from all these sites into one simple site that you can use to watch everything, how you want to do this is up to you.
Ok, the way that free online television works is that there's 1000's of channels of what's called 'free to air' satellite TV broadcasts where major and minor stations (and when I say major, that does include ones you've heard of like NBC, FOX NEWS, CNN, ESPN, TNT, etc.) make their broadcasts available via their websites in the form of streaming video that you can watch, BUT you have to go each individual website, then navigate and/or search for your show to see the streaming video of it each time you want to watch.
Another solution is one of the websites, such as YouTube.com or Google Video where clips from TV shows are often uploaded, and occasionally the full length show is put on there although this is rare and is often taken down by YouTube or Google due to copyright violations--one of the problems with YouTube is that videos longer than 10 minutes are generally not allowed.
Additionally there are sites like BeelineTV.com and WorldTVPC.com (which I recommend you at least check out to see what they're about) where they have a list of links to all the websites of TV channels that have free streaming video on their sites, but you still have to find your country and then go to each individual website, then navigate and search to find the show you want--it's a bit time consuming and irritating, is my point (but it's do-able, and it's free, so it's up to you).
All-in-One Solution
This is what I use: there is software available that you can download which will go out and automatically find ALL the available free TV channels (over 3000) and make them available to you in one simple and easy interface right on your computer--no searching, no web surfing, navigating, or combing through websites and lists of links. It's all right there for you in one program, over 3000 channels to choose from. You do have to pay for the software, but it's very affordable, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: you only pay ONCE, EVER, just one payment for the software, you do NOT pay any type of monthly subscription fee like you would for cable or satellite TV. If you'd like to learn more about this, I recommend you check out their site at: SatTVtoPC.com
